The TopLaxRecrits.com Girls’ Southern Rankings:
1. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (VA) 3-0: The Saints added a dominating win over W.T. Woodson 17-1. They play a strong Agnes Irwin (PA) squad on Wednesday.
2. Bishop Ireton (VA) 4-0: The Cardinals added two big wins over Holy Cross (MD) 11-10 and the nation’s No. 4 team, Agnes Irwin (PA) 12-9. They play Brighton today.
3. Milton (GA) 6-1: The Eagles dominated Woodstock (GA) 18-1. They play Lassiter on Thursday.
4. Vero Beach (FL) 13-3: The Fighting Indians added three wins, defeating Bartram Trail 13-9, Long Island power Cold Spring Harbor 10-5, and a competitive Radnor (PA) team 6-5. They face Hinsdale Central on Friday to end their regular season.
5. Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) 7-0: The Wildcats remain undefeated with a 17-1 win over Jordan (NC). They play Myers Park on Friday.
6. Lake Highland Prep (FL) 12-1: The Highlanders added two wins, downing Barron G. Collier 19-6 and Lake Brantley 17-5. They face Timber Creek, Hinsdale Central and American Heritage this week to finish their season.
7. St. Anne’s-Belfield (VA) 4-1: The Saints dominated over St. Gertrude 17-1 and Western Reserve Academy 16-4. They play Holton-Arms School for a strong test.
8. St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) 9-2: The Raiders added two wins, defeating Cypress Bay 18-1 and Jensen Beach 19-8. They face Bartram Trail and Ponte Vedra this week to end their season.
9. Olympia (FL) 14-2: The Titans will finish their season against Ocoee and Jensen Beach this week.
10. Ponte Vedra (FL) 10-3:The Cowgirls face St. Thomas Aquinas and Oak Hall this week.
Under consideration: American Heritage (FL) 14-1, Charlotte Catholic (N.C.) 6-2, Charlotte Country Day School (N.C.) 7-1, Collegiate School (VA) 2-2, Coppell (TX) 7-3, H.B. Plant (FL) 10-1, Hutchison (TN) 5-2, Mill Creek (GA) 11-0, North Gwinnett (GA) 8-2, Oakton (VA) 1-0, Robinson (VA) 4-0, St. John’s (TX) 6-2, Trinity Episcopal (VA) 1-2, Walton (GA) 8-2, Westminster (GA) 9-2.
