Why did you choose this school? “I love Roanoke’s campus, location, and everything about the school. The coaching staff is amazing, and I just fit in. I also love the fact that I get to play for a top highly competitive program.”
2016 HS season highlights/outlook for 2017? “The 2016 season was a great year for our team. We set the school record for wins in a season with 16, and won the conference championship for the first time in school history.
“I think 2017 is going to be an exciting year. We were a young team, only graduating five seniors. We return all of our top scorers and a solid, experienced defense; 2017 is the year we chase the state championship.”
People to thank: “I want to thank my parents for always supporting me and making everything possible. Without them I wouldn’t have had all of the opportunities that they made possible to follow my passion.
“I also want to thank my coaches and teammates. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I’m happy to have one more year to play with them.”
