Why did you choose Duke University, Women’s D1? “I chose Duke, as I was looking for a school with a balance of high academics and competitive lacrosse. I loved how committed and hard working each girl I met on the team was to the sport and achieving their goals to get to a championship. I am equally driven and motivated to work hard and achieve my goals, so this felt like home to me and felt like a place I could see myself excelling. The coaches were all amazing which was important to me too, and that sealed the deal for me. I cannot wait to get started with them! #GoDuke @dukewlax.”

Is there anything else you would like to share? “I want to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for their constant support in me. Each one has helped me get to where I am today, by pushing me and always believing in me. From my first middle school coach, to my WHS coaches, my personal trainers, my M&D club coaches & director, and all the coaches in between, as well as my inspiration, Jordyn Case. I am very grateful to you all, thank you!!! Coach Salminen, Coach Brown, Coach Laverghetta, Coach Wall, Coach Case, Coach Mcginley, Coach Montenaro, Coach Gari, Coach Bags, Coach Roe @dodgecity_lax and Coach Magnuson. Also thank you to all the college coaches who shared their interest and feedback with me on this journey. A special thank you to Coach Kimel, Coach Williams and Coach Griffin for giving me this opportunity!”

What other colleges did you consider? Stanford, Yale, Syracuse, Navy, USC and Notre Dame
