4/6/23 – Apex, NC – Goaltender Dylan Axman will head to the state of Missouri to play for Lindenwood University. Axeman was named first-team all conference and an all-state honroable mention in 2022. He was also an all-region honorable mention. The standout goalie was a 2021 Tar Heel Showcase Honorable Mention, Team 91 Inernational invitee, and the recipient of the 2021 Middle Creek High School Coaches Award. As a student Axeman has made honor roll three different times. The 2022 state champion will major in Business or Sports Business at Lindenwood. 

Why did you choose Lindenwood? – “After taking a tour, meeting with Coach Lange and Coach Frosch, getting to see the area, and getting to attend a preseason exhibition game, it felt right from the very beginning. I was also able to speak with some students and lacrosse families and was given all positive feedback. Lindenwood has the major(s) I’m interested in pursuing, a great campus and first class athletics facilities.”

Who do you wish to thank? – “I want to thank all of my current and past coaches and teammates at Middle Creek High School, Team 91 Carolina, Break Thru, 919Lacrosse, Goaliesmith, YLS, FV Goblins, The Strength Feed and many others who helped make this possible. I also want to thank all of my teachers for helping me to become a good student. I’m truly grateful to all of them. A special thank you to Coach Lange and Coach Frosch for giving me this incredible opportunity. 4/24/23 – Wake Forest, NC – Team 91 South and Carolina club lacrosse midfielder Hunter Falzon has committed to Rutgers University. Falzon has been named first-team all-conference and honorable mention all-region. He currently has a 4.3 high school GPA making him an honor roll student. Falzon is a part of the National Honor Society and National Society for High School Scholars. The standout midfielder will major in Engineering at Rutgers University.

Why did you choose Rutgers? – “I chose Rutgers because I have dreamed of playing there since I was a little kid. Both of my parents played lacrosse at Rutgers, so its really cool to be following in their footsteps.”

Who do you wish to thank? –  “I want to thank all of my coaches and all of my family members, I wouldn’t be where I am without each and every one of them. Gardill is a three-time all-region (East) member as well as a three-time North Carolina state champion. The midfielder and attackman has also been named all-conference four different times. Gardill knows how to play at a high level when it matters most as he was the 2022 North Carolina state championship game leading scorer. The RoughRiders club team member is expected to major in Exercise Science with a minor in Athletic Coaching at Salisbury University.

Why did you choose Salisbury? – “I chose Salisbury because of how historic the lacrosse program is there. They have been a top contender for the National Championship every year and I do not see that changing.”
